After an eventful week in New Orleans, I’m happy to share a bit more of our visit — and wedding planning progress! As some of you may know, we booked our venue earlier this winter (totally site unseen) — so this was our very first time seeing where we’ll say “I do.” Much to our excitement and happiness, the setting is absolutely beautiful in person. It’s located in the Garden District, and has amazing architectural detail and a charming courtyard. The rest you’ll see later 😉 We also met with a handful of vendors, like our coordinator, florist, lighting team, and the stationers creating our suite at Scriptura. (It was so cool to see more of the design process and their letterpress studio in action!) We loved our stay at International House hotel and enjoyed local food spots, like Sylvain, Seaworthy, Atchafalaya, Cavan, Brennan’s, Domenica and more. Here’s to an exciting year ahead!
