Last week, I had the pleasure of meeting the girls behind one of my absolute favorite brands, Cuyana, for dinner at Nellcôte. I first discovered the collection a few years ago, and instantly fell for its classic designs and quality. Even more than that, the brand’s motto resonated with me — an emphasis on fewer, better things. I know many times, this blog (and fashion blogs in general) talk a lot about “stuff,” material speaking. Though it’s part of the nature when dealing with fashion, I never want this space to come off as materialistic. I put a lot of thought behind what I personally purchase, and also the things I share and recommend here on my site. I’ll always focus on brands and styles I genuinely love, and could possibly find a spot in your wardrobe, too. Case in point: this leather tote I’ve carried for the past three years. It’s held up through multiple trips in the U.S. and beyond, yet still looks perfectly new. (Can’t recommend it enough!). Anyway, that might have been a bit much for a Monday morning, but I’m all for simplifying and investing in classics that remain wardrobe staples… year after year.
