Did you know today is National Tequila Day? (There really is a holiday for everything.) To celebrate, here’s a favorite recipe for classic margaritas on the rocks.
INGREDIENTS
• 2 oz of fresh lime juice
• 1 1/2 oz clear tequila
• 3/4 oz Cointreau
• 1/4 oz of agave (more or less to taste)
Combine lime juice, tequila, Cointreau and agave syrup in a chilled cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well, then pour over ice. Adjust the agave to your taste, and garnish with lime. Bottoms up!
