Recently, I was asked: “How has living in Chicago influenced your style?” I’d say, being a Midwest girl in a big city, I like to invest in pieces that are both classic and practical, then have a little fun with trends and edge through accessories. You’ll find me opting for a tailored dress or a great pair of jeans and a blouse, styled with statement shoes, a fabulous bag or printed scarf. While it’s fun to keep up with the latest trends out of NYC and LA, style in Chicago is structured and urban but more approachable. (We do have 4 distinct and unpredictable seasons, after all!).
