No matter my life stage, September will forever elicit that feeling of “back to school.” Though I’m a decade beyond high school (AND my freshman year of college… yikes!) — September still represents a fresh start in many ways. Each fall, it’s fun to restock a few essentials, like a quality pair of denim and new accessories that can be worn from work to play. I stopped in Banana Republic recently and fell for this cashmere-soft sweater and a beautiful trapeze silhouette leather bag. I’ll let you in on a secret: Most times, you’ll find a pair of flats tucked inside my bag — like these leopard flats. Although these heels are truthfully quite comfortable, flats are waaay more practical for getting around the city. Just keeping it real 😉
