We’re Having a Baby!

I am very excited to share some major personal news with you this morning…

We’re expecting a baby! He or she will be arriving this winter in December. I am so looking forward to becoming a mom and meeting our little babe in six months. Kevin and I feel over the moon to be having a healthy pregnancy so far, and to become a family of three later this year.

Since confirming my pregnancy back in early April, we’ve been keeping the news mum beyond telling our families. Hearing our baby’s heartbeat for the first time at 7 weeks was nothing short of surreal and totally incredible. For the most part, I’ve had a calm and smooth first trimester — feeling very thankful, happy, but tired. The exhaustion I felt was real!

Now being 14+ weeks along, I’ll be opening up more about the first trimester, whether we’re finding out our baby’s gender, symptoms/cravings, traveling internationally during early pregnancy (I was 9-10 weeks during our recent trip to Europe), thoughts on becoming a mom, etc. I’m thinking a Q&A style post might be fun…! Sharing this news with you finally feels so good. Since beginning this blog six years ago — I can’t believe it’s been that long — I’ve documented many different personal experiences and life milestones. This one feels like the best one yet. Thank you for your love and support during this brand new exciting chapter. ♡
