This past weekend found me in my hometown: Appleton, Wisconsin. While I like city life, there’s something about returning where you grew up. Things are a little slower, friendlier, and I catch myself appreciating the greenery and open spaces more and more. I enjoyed a nice visit with my parents, older brother and my sweet little niece, as well as my Grandma, who is celebrating 96 this year! Whenever I’m home, I naturally gravitate toward toward casual pieces, like this soft cape and my favorite pair of jeans. I’d love to know: Where did you grow up and do you still get to visit often?
