Today I’m giving you a peek inside my medicine cabinet and sharing a handful of skincare favorites, all I honestly use and love. None of these products or recommendations are ‘sponsored’ — just ones that work for me and that I’m happy to share, as I would with girlfriends 😉
CLARISONIC BRUSH | I purchased the Clarisonic Mia last summer and it’s been the best investment for my skin in the past year, hands down. I’ve experienced far fewer breakouts and notice my skin feels (and looks) more radiant and clear. I love the deep-clean feeling the Clarisonic gives, as it works to exfoliate and polish. Just be sure to remove all make-up prior to using and to replace the brush head every 3 months or so. You can find Clarisonic currently on sale.
NEULASH SERUM | I had seen this serum mentioned on other blogs and continued to read reviews, and thought maybe the claims of longer lashes were mostly hype. Well, I gave NeuLash a try… and, wow! I noticed longer and fuller lashes within weeks (totally honest). I used consistently, every night, and began seeing results 3 to 4 weeks later. I purchased the larger 0.2oz tube, which lasted much longer than I had expected. A little goes a long way. If interested, NeuLash is now on sale at Nordstrom.
CLARINS HYDRA-ESSENTIEL CREAM | Is it weird I look forward to applying this at night? I was first gifted Hydra-Essentiel as a sample and quickly became hooked. Clarins is a global authority on skincare and this collection especially works for me. The cream goes on silky smooth and restores moisture to skin, giving an overall glowy and radiant appearance. The collection also comes in a gel and serum.
AERIN ROSE LIP CONDITIONER | If you’ve been a longtime reader here, you probably have noticed me feature Aerin before, for home decor or fragrance — and now this lip conditioner deserves a spotlight. The formula is ultra nourishing, and has a slight rose scent and flattering soft pink tint. (The packaging is so pretty, too.)
M-61 POWERGLOW EYE CREAM | Developed by Bluemercury, this eye cream is perfect for anyone who’s beginning to notice fine lines near their eyes. (Anyone else…?) It’s packed glycolic acid and vitamin K, which has helped improve the tone and smoothness around my eyes.
MARIO BADESCU DRYING LOTION | I’ve written about this product before, as you may remember — but this stuff works! It’s basically a spot treatment that zaps breakouts before they worsen, overnight. You can find this Mario Badescu set now on sale.
ELYSIUM SPA | If you’re local to Chicago, I recommend Elysium in River North. I see Ana for skincare facials and dermaplaning (which make a huge difference in the appearance of my skin) and I’d trust Dr. Mick for any injectibles, botox or consultation you may be interested in 😉
