One of my favorite recipes to make at home is a Mixed Berry Smoothie. I’ve been making the same variation of this smoothie for years — just ask anyone from my college roommates to my boyfriend! It’s been a staple in my routine because it’s a healthy and refreshing way to kick-start the day. So when Williams-Sonoma asked me to team up and share my favorite recipe, with a creative twist of one “unusual” ingredient for Williams-Sonoma’s Smoothie Week — I happily said, “Yes!”. Here is my classic Mixed Berry Smoothie recipe, with added natural oats, to supplement an already delicious and healthy breakfast drink. I hope you enjoy!
MIXED BERRY SMOOTHIE
• 1 cup mixed berries (raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, etc.)
• 1 banana
• 1/2 cup orange juice
• 1/2 cup orange juice
• 1/4 cup oats
• 1/2 T flaxseed
• 1/2 T flaxseed
• 1 cup ice
• 6 oz yogurt (optional)
• 6 oz yogurt (optional)
• For extra sweetness, try adding pineapple or agave.
Directions: Pour orange juice in blender first, then all the remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth. Enjoy!

Yum! I'll be making your berry smoothie and also purchasing the recipe book from WS!
Yummm!!! PS your kitchen is beautiful as are your photos. So talented!
I make a smoothie every morning for breakfast and I've been meaning to try flax seed in mine. I need a new blender first so I can ensure they mix well.
